形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stems aggregated, ascending, densely villous throughout.
• Leaves chartaceous, densely villous, asymmetrically obovate-oblanceolate, 2-5.5 cm long, 0.7-2.2 cm wide, basiscopic half semicordate, margins ciliate, serrate, apex cuspidate ciliate; stipules 2, glabrous above, hirsute beneath, narrowly triangular, 3-5.5 mm long.
• Female inflorescences brownish with deep brown dots in fruit, densely puberulent outside, subquadrate, to 4.5 mm across; bracts densely puberulent, incompletely connate and forming a subquadrate involucre. Female flowers pedicellate; bracteoles narrowly lanceolate, puberulent beneath; sepals rudimentary; staminodes 3 or 4; ovary ovoid.
• Achenes ovoid, with ca. 12 wing-like ribs.

分布

• 台灣 : in the southern part of the island, low to medium altitudes, mostly in ravines, sometimes on moist forest floors.
